philosophy & religion books I've read before
anthologies * dystopia/apocalypse * fantasy * humor * literary realism * nonfiction * nostalgia * philosophy/religion * science fiction

These are books I read before I ever started writing reviews for my website. Maybe eventually I'll reread some of them and write proper reviews, but probably not all of them. But I still want to at least mention as many books that I've read as I can recall.

Pooh and the Philosophers, by John Tyerman Williams (pub. 1996)
Amazon; B&N; Goodreads; Wikipedia

This is something... I'm not sure when I read; probably anywhere from 1999 to 2009. I must have been aware of its having been inspired by the 1982 book "The Tao of Pooh," though I didn't read that until 2013. And I guess when I did, I decided not to write a review of it. I'm sure I thought it was okay, but I probably didn't like it quite as much as this book. Which I now don't remember very well at all. But probably someday I'll reread it. It's certainly interesting. The whole concept of using Winnie the Pooh to explain philosophy is just a neat idea.

Tactus: A Quest for Truth, by Matthew S. Burden (pub. 2001)
Amazon; B&N; Goodreads

The author is my cousin. I read a copy of the book that belonged to... I dunno, maybe my mom, or my grandmother, or my sister, or some relative. And... I'm afraid that now I don't remember any details of the story, except that it's a sort of Biblical historical fiction thing, set in the early Roman Empire. I feel bad about not remembering more than that.
