Caution: major spoiler for the movie.
I bought this one-shot when it first came out, in 2010. Somehow I failed to write a review. And later, I lent it to my cousins. I'm not sure if they ever found time to read it, but I didn't get it back. Maybe I will sometime. Meanwhile, some months later, I bought myself a second copy of it (with a variant cover). So I could finally write my review.
It's simple enough. There are these three guys who I guess just bought a new ship, which I guess is called the Jetwash. The story, I should say, is set after the movie Serenity. So you shouldn't read this comic (or this review) until you've seen that. I already warned you of that at the top of the review, so here it is: Wash is dead. And these guys, who as far as I know we've never seen before in any medium, are sharing stories about him. Two of them had each worked with him at different points, before he joined the crew of Serenity. One of them had been an Alliance guy, though he's not anymore. I don't think there's any point in detailing any of their stories; the important thing is they were all paying tribute to the kind of guy Wash had been. And in the end, Zoe shows up. And there's something... which surprised me, I don't remember if it had been specified or even hinted at, in the movie. I need to watch that again sometime. But anyway, it was a good comic, and I don't know what else to say.
