July 26
I watched the Halloween episode of "Girl Meets World" from 2014, just because that's the episode I was up to in my viewing of the series on Disney+ (since I never got to see the show on Disney Channel). And I added it to my Halloween episodes page.
October 1
Watched The Addams Family. And Laundry Night, the first short film Crypt TV has put out in quite awhile.
Oct. 4
I watched the first part of The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh. It's not really Halloweenish, but I wanted to watch the miniseries this month because of the title character's costume.
Oct. 5
Watched part 2 of The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh.
Oct. 6
Watched part 3 of The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh, and Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders.
Oct. 7
I watched Don't Look Under the Bed.
Oct. 8
I watched Muppets Haunted Mansion, the first legitimately Halloween-themed thing I've done this month. Then I watched a movie called "Ghost Stories," but I didn't care for it enough to write a review. Then watched another new short film on Crypt TV, Ouzo and Blackcurrant.
Oct. 11
I watched last night's Halloween episode of "Bob's Burgers" on Hulu. It was pretty decent. I liked the kids' costumes, though they were a minor part of the episode. Gene was a Gradiator (gladiator who just got his master's degree), Tina was the Sherlock Ness Monster, and my favorite was Louise as Peter Pan's Labyrinth. But mainly the episode was about Linda and Gayle, who receive ominous letters referring to how they had smashed pumpkins 27 years ago. Then I watched Parasite on Hulu.
Oct. 12
I watched Treehouse of Horror XXXII from a couple nights ago, on Hulu. It was okay.
Oct. 13
I watched Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
Oct. 15
I watched the first episode of Amazon's new series "I Know What You Did Last Summer". And I watched Books of Blood on Hulu. Then I watched a short film on CryptTV, Worry Dolls. That one I liked enough that I almost wrote a review of it, but then I decided against it. It's still probably the best CryptTV short I've seen this month.
Oct. 16
Watched the second episode of "I Know What You Did Last Summer". I'm not sure if I'm going to really get into this series or not, but I'll keep watching for awhile.
Oct. 17
Watched this year's Halloween song by Broken Peach, Tainted Love (with a bit of "Sweet Dreams are Made of This" mashed in near the end). It didn't feel very Halloweeny to me, but it was alright. Also I finally got around to watching the first episode of last year's Facebook Watch series "Stereoscope", one of several such series from CryptTV. I've seen a couple of them, but there are a few I haven't watched yet, and would like to catch up on all of them this month, if I can. Also tonight I watched Practical Magic.
Oct. 18
I watched Dawn of the Dead (1978).
Oct. 19
I watched the second episode of "Stereoscope". Then I watched Rubber, which was more comedy than horror, but at least it involved people's heads blowing up.
Oct. 20
I watched the third episode of "Stereoscope". And I watched Blade: Trinity.
Oct. 21
Watched episode four of "Stereoscope" and then Son of Frankenstein.
Oct. 22
I watched a Halloweenish episode of the web series "React", Top 5 Horror TV Shows Of All Time, but I'm torn as to whether or not to put it on my Halloween web series episodes page. I don't think I will, but I just don't know. At least I had to mention it here. Later, I watched Jeepers Creepers 3.
Oct. 24
Watched episode 5 of "Stereoscope". Things are starting to get real. Also today I learned that there's a new season of Hulu's Bite Size Halloween, with 18 new short films I need to watch. So I watched the first three of those. And I watched Tremors 3. It wasn't really scary, but I didn't really expect it to be.
Oct. 25
watched a few more episodes of "Bite Size Halloween". And I watched "Three Extremes II", but I didn't like it enough to bother writing a review.
Oct. 26
Watched episodes 7-9 of "Bite Size Halloween" and episode 6 of "Stereoscope". Then I watched Wrong Turn 3. I seem to be watching a lot of "3" movies this month.
Oct. 27
Watched episodes 10-12 of "Bite Size Halloween". Later watched episode 7 of "Stereoscope". Only three episodes left, so I should finish the series before Halloween. But I won't be watching any of CryptTV's other Facebook Watch shows before then, as I'd hoped I might. Then I watched the Halloween episode of "Freaks and Geeks", from 1999. I didn't remember it at all, but I don't really remember anything specific about this show, which is why I've been re-watching it on DVD, this fall. (And of course the DVDs will have all 18 produced episodes, not just the ones that aired on TV.) Then I watched "Uncanny Annie" on Into the Dark.
Oct. 28
I actually saw Boglins at Walmart today. I would have bought one, except they were a bit smaller than ones I would want. Boglins! I also saw a cereal called Monster Mash which is a mix of all the monster cereals. I considered buying it but decided I didn't really want it. I just like that it exists. Back home, I watched episodes 13-14 of Bite Size Halloween. Only two today instead of three. Just because. But I should still get through the remaining four episodes by Saturday (the day before Halloween). And I watched episode 8 of Stereoscope. Just two more episodes to go. Then I watched House, which was more surreal than scary.
Oct. 29
Watched episodes 15-17 of Bite Size Halloween. So there should be just one left, but they added one since the last time I checked the page. So I have two left to watch, and now I don't know whether there will be even more added or not. Either way, it's fine. Then I watched episode 9 of Stereoscope. Then I watched episode 6 of "Helstrom", a show I've been watching throughout the month but haven't mentioned before. It's a horror show, so I probably should mention it, but I just don't care for it that much. Then I watched A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.
Oct. 30
I watched episodes 18-19 of Bite Size Halloween. So I'm done with that, unless they add any more films today or tomorrow. (I assume they wouldn't add any after Halloween has passed.) I also watched the last episode of Stereoscope and wrote my review. Later I watched Vampire Hunter D. Then I watched a roughly 2 minute film on Hulu called The Veil, which was just weird. Also, it watched me.
Oct. 31
Well, the actual day is here. I'm wearing a jack-o-lantern t-shirt I bought a few weeks ago. And I watched Goosebumps 2. A friend posted Get Down Goblin in The Music Exchange. Never heard that before. Later I watched Halloween II. And tonight I shall be drinking some Dead Guy Ale, which I quite probably haven't had since 1999. Good stuff. And I watched Us (review coming tomorrow, when I'm sober). Then, just to fill the time until midnight, I listened to bits and pieces of my Halloween playlist on Spotify.
