July 3
I see that I didn't do a page for the holiday last year. Now I don't know why that would be, but I also can't remember anything about it. I suppose it's not important. Anyway, this year I don't feel like celebrating, partly because the Supreme Court has been seriously pissing me off lately. Also, for the past several days I thought I had a cold, but today I took a home Covid test, and it was positive. It's remarkably mild, but I still won't be able to go to the lake tomorrow, and I can't visit my cousins. (Also, I didn't have a chance to get any decent beer, so I'm stuck with Natty Light. And I don't feel like drinking much, anyway.) Meanwhile, tonight I have re-watched a 2006 TV movie, Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front, just so I could add a rating to my review. It ends on Christmas, but takes place throughout 1943, and focuses on how World War II affected people at home in America, so it has a sort of patriotic aspect to it that I thought was kind of appropriate for this time of year.
July 4
Months ago I bought a t-shirt to wear today. I was hoping my cousins would get to see it, but since I won't be seeing them today... maybe they can at least look at the picture from the website where I bought it. And this evening I watched about half of the July 2020 episode of "Into the Dark", The Current Occupant, but then the internet got too slow to finish it. I'll try to get to that tomorrow. (Note: I didn't get to it until July 6.)
