This came out in 1966. I probably first heard of it when I read an article about it in Entertainment Weekly. (Which, I assume, was this one, from 2005, though I can't remember for sure.) I wanted to see it just because it is considered one of, possibly the, worst movie ever made. I finally watched it in 2019, as part of a DVD set called "The Best of the Worst." And I must admit, it is one of the worst things I've ever seen. (I did once try to watch The Room when it aired on Adult Swim, and I don't think I managed to get through more than a minute of it. So probably that was worse than this movie, but I couldn't say for sure.) I guess a lot of people enjoy watching really, really bad movies specifically because they're so bad. And I can understand that, up to a point. But some movies (and I include this one) are so bad that I, personally, cannot consider them So Bad It's Good. I do have the capacity to enjoy some bad movies ironically (even if I prefer enjoying good movies unironically), but my threshold for that is definitely far less than some people's. (Of course, it's all subjective; I could very well enjoy some bad movies that other people consider too bad to enjoy even ironically, and I could genuinely, unironically like some movies that others can only imagine liking ironically... maybe even dislike so much that they can't imagine liking it on any level. So... whatever.) Anyway, I guess this movie gained cult popularity in large part because of "Mystery Science Theater 3000," but I never actually saw it there. (I suspect I would have enjoyed it more than watching it straight.)

As for the plot... no. I am not going to waste my time explaining one single bit of it. (But I am glad I've finally seen it, so that I never again need to worry about it.)
