Caution: potential spoilers.

Well, I suppose it was kind of inevitable that at some point Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would make a movie together. You know, two of Hollywood's biggest sex symbols, and all. What I think was less inevitable was whether it would turn out to be any good. Well... what can I say? I kinda liked it. It definitely had some funny moments, and the action was cool enough for an actual action movie. I guess. Still, I never really cared that much about the characters, even though I did hope they'd end up together once they learned the truth about each other.

Which brings us to the plot. Pitt plays John Smith, and Jolie plays his wife, Jane Smith. They met in Bogota, Colombia, 5 or 6 years ago, and married soon after. Each one is an assassin working for a different spy organization of some sort, though neither knows this about the other. And I... don't actually know what organizations they worked for, though I got the impression that both groups, though U.S.-based, worked against the U.S. government. I guess. At any rate, there was some guy named Benjamin Danz (Adam Brody). He was... apparently being transported by the FBI for some reason, I didn't really catch what that was about exactly, if they even said. But John and Jane were each sent by their respective organizations to kill him. They ended up nearly killing each other, from a distance, and both failed to take out Danz.

They also each found a clue about who their rival was on the failed mission, and finally learned the truth about each other. For part of the rest of the film, they try to kill each other. But then they decide they love each other, and the whole dynamic of the movie changes. But there's still plenty of action and lots of killing. And eventually they do both capture Danz, and a larger truth emerges. And more action and killing ensue. Of course, they still have their differences, both as assassins and just with how they tackle normal life. So... I suppose their marriage will take some work, but then again, whose doesn't? But... meh, there's nothing else to say, really. It was worth watching once, and that's enough.
