I don't remember this well enough to rate it.

I'm not really sure what to say. There are a bunch of different people in this movie, with different stories going on, but they're pretty much all interconnected, in one way or another. And of course it's all about racism. And, you know... message movies are good and all, but rarely tell me anything I don't already know, and this is no exception. All it really does is remind me what a fucked up place the world is, which is something I was in no danger of forgetting. There are a few positive, optimistic moments, I suppose, and a few funny bits. But on the whole... *sigh* I dunno.

It's definitely a quality movie, which was critically lauded and won some Oscars. And the fact that it was considered so good is basically why I wanted to see it. When I eventually did, I liked it, I guess, but it's not something I felt the need to see again. Now I'm thinking maybe I should, someday. And write a proper review, with a bit of the actual plot, and stuff. I don't really remember much about it now. I know there was a great cast, though pretty much the only person I really remember at all is Don Cheadle. Anyway... I kind of feel like I should put the review under "art films," and if I ever see it again, I may consider moving it. But for now, "drama" will do.
