Well, it's a decent movie, but I'm afraid it just didn't do much for me, personally. This woman named Bridget (Linda Fiorentino) is married to this guy Clay (Bill Pullman), who's a doctor I guess, and she convinced him to write prescriptions for drugs to sell illegally or something. I don't really get that bit. They needed money, which is odd for a doctor, I think. He owes money to a loan shark. Whatever, all this happens before the movie starts.
At the start, Clay comes home with like a million dollars, and Bridget steals it. She leaves New York, intending to go to Chicago, but ends up in some small town called Beston. There she meets a guy named Mike (Peter Berg), who always wanted to leave his town, move somewhere bigger. He'd just moved back after a failure in Buffalo, where he had made a bad mistake in marrying someone named Trish, which he just wanted to forget about. He hooks up with Bridget, who's now calling herself Wendy Kroy. Meanwhile, Clay sends a private investigator to find her and get the money back. She wants to go back to New York, but she has to get rid of Clay first, and um... well, she plays head games with Mike, who never really knows anything true about her, and... Hell, I don't really want to spoil anything for you. Go watch the movie. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't. I dunno.
