On Halloween night, a young woman named Dorothy gets a job house-sitting while the homeowners, Alice and Russell Poe, go to a Halloween party. Dorothy is supposed to check on Alice's comatose mother every couple of hours, as well as handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. She just wants to watch a scary movie and hang out with her boyfriend. But her plans are spoiled when he calls to say he can't make it, and ends up breaking up with her. Unfortunately for Dorothy, her night only gets worse after that, as she has to deal with a few different scary situations. I don't want to spoil any details, but I do think it was basically a well-made short film. I didn't like it as much as it probably deserves to be liked, but it was definitely worth the watch.
