On Halloween night, two musicians named Nathan and Venessa are planning on playing at a party after getting off work at a coffee shop. They also have a coworker named Geoffrey. Unfortunately... people who come into the shop end up killing themselves in the most ridiculous ways. (Mostly these are accidents due to extreme carelessness, but there's one guy who might have actually committed suicide, I wasn't sure about that.) There's also a macabre poetess/activist and customer named Penelope, who Nathan is interested in, but she's oblivious. And... I don't want to say any more about the short, but it's kind of amusing and creative. It sort of put me in mind of Clerks (but as a horror comedy), though it's not nearly that good.
