On Halloween, a man fills a bucket with some candy for trick-or-treaters. He sets the bucket on the floor, a little ways inside the front door, so that kids will have to come inside to get some candy. (Right away, that seems like a major red flag.) The first couple of kids he lets take the candy and leave. But then a girl dressed like a fairy comes in, and he immediately grabs her, takes her down to his cellar, and locks her in a cage. Beyond that I don't really want to reveal anything, but... while I thought the twist ending was entirely predictable, it was still really good. And up until that point, the whole situation is genuinely scary, in a very realistic way.
