Set on the same night as first movie (Halloween). Laurie Strode goes to the hospital. Michael Myers continues killing people. The police and Dr. Loomis look everywhere for him, except the hospital (until the end of the movie), which is where he spends most of his time. There's also a revelation about Laurie that I don't want to spoil, but it seemed totally out of left field, to me. Anyway, that's all I can really say. I wasn't very impressed by any of it, so I don't know whether I want to bother watching any more movies in the franchise (and there are a lot of them). But we'll see.

Followed by Halloween III: Season of the Witch (which I'm not sure I'll ever see)
