An animated short from 1971, which I only know about because it was on "Great but Forgotten." A woman decides to buy a pet for her husband. The whole thing sets up a somewhat dark joke, though not as dark as I imagined it would be. And... I dunno what else to say. It's funny. And it won an Oscar. There was a sequel, which I haven't seen and probably never will.
