Mickey's Trailer (7:41)

This came out in 1938. I first saw it on TV when I was a kid sometime in the 80s, most likely on The Wonderful World of Disney. I watched it on Disney+ in 2023 so I could write a review. This is one of the Mickey Mouse cartoons I remember best, though I have no idea why. But I do find it nostalgic and amusing, and I think it holds up fairly well.
So, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are apparently going on a trip, with Goofy driving a car that's hooked to a trailer. Mickey makes breakfast for the three of them, and Goofy leaves the car to eat in the trailer, but doesn't have any luck getting any food into his mouth. Then he realizes nobody's driving, so he returns to the car, inadvertently unhooking the trailer as he does so. Mickey and Donald have a rough time of it, rolling and tumbling down a mountain trail, with Goofy unaware of their situation. (Honestly, if they weren't cartoons, Mickey and Donald would have been seriously hurt or killed.) But I guess things turn out alright, in the end. Sort of.
That's about it. But I gotta say, the trailer itself is pretty cool. I remember feeling bad for Goofy at first, since he didn't get to eat, and of course feeling worse for the other two, later. (Though I might have also felt there was a bit of karmic justice going on with Goofy having an easier time after getting no breakfast.) There are plenty of bits I didn't remember from the short, but also some things I did remember, such as Mickey and Donald eating corn on the cob like it was a typewriter. (I didn't remember how Goofy failed to get any corn, and I'm not going to spoil that. I just remembered him not eating anything.)
