Boo! (9:29)

This short came out in 1932. I first saw it in 2018, as a bonus feature in a DVD collection of Frankenstein movies. The film contains video clips from the 1931 movie Frankenstein, as well as the 1922 movie "Nosferatu," and the 1930 movie "The Cat Creeps." And I guess some original footage, to frame the whole thing. There's a guy reading "Dracula" (I find it funny that the title is on the back cover), and eating lobster and drinking milk. This is supposed to be a recipe to have nightmares. I find that amusing because earlier the same night I watched this, I happened to have seen an episode of SciShow called Can a Burger Really Give You Nightmares? (It has nothing to do with this film, I just found it to be an interesting coincidence about the concept of certain foods giving you nightmares.)
Anyway... the guy falls asleep, and his "nightmares" are the clips from the old movies. But what's great about this short is that the audio throughout the whole thing is a narrator who makes nonstop redonkulous jokes. It's all friggin' hilarious (aside from one joke about women drivers that I'd say has not aged well). And I guess there really isn't anything else to say.
