Strangers In the Night (17:13)
Adam Huss; IMDb; RKQ; YouTube

I watched this on Screamfest's YouTube channel, which is for horror shorts, but despite the story involving serial killers, it's mostly a comedy. Set during the Covid-19 pandemic, a man named Gabriel sits alone in his house in the woods, going stir crazy because of quarantine. Finally he goes out driving, looking for some other person to talk to. He finds Michael, whose car had broken down. So Gabriel gives Michael a ride to Gabriel's house, so Michael could call for a tow. When there's no answer, Gabriel invites Michael to spend the night. The two of them seem to have fairly different personalities, and it seems that Gabriel was somewhat annoyed by Michael, but was still relieved to have someone to interact with after all this time alone. However, it turns out that Gabriel is actually a serial killer, and tries to drug Michael so that he can kill him. There are a few plot twists that I don't want to spoil. None of it particularly surprised me, but I still found the whole thing amusing. Especially the end.
