The Consultant (3:50)
Disney+; IMDb; MCU Wiki; TV Tropes
This was released on the Blu-ray of Thor in 2011. It was also available as an extra for "Thor" on Disney+ (which is where I first watched it, in 2020). In January 2022, it was moved to a new page on Disney+ that collected all the One-Shots.
Agent Jasper Sitwell sits in a diner, where he is soon joined by Agent Phil Coulson. They discuss the order of the World Security Council to get SHIELD to convince General Ross (from The Incredible Hulk) to release Emil Blonsky (aka "The Abomination") so that he might join The Avengers. But SHIELD doesn't want Blonsky, they want Bruce Banner. So they have to come up with a way to follow the WSC's order with regard to Ross, but to fail to convince him. So they decide to send someone called "The Consultant" to talk to Ross. And that's all I want to say. It's a fairly amusing and well-executed short film.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer (3:57)
Disney+; IMDb; MCU Wiki; TV Tropes
This was released on the Blu-ray of Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011. It was released on Disney+ in January 2022, which is where I first saw it (in April).
Agent Coulson stops at a gas station convenience store, where he thwarts an attempted robbery. It's a pretty simple short, but I found it reasonably amusing and cool. Not enough of a story to get too excited about it, though.
Item 47 (11:19)
Disney+; IMDb; MCU Wiki; TV Tropes; Wikipedia
This was released on the Blu-ray of The Avengers in 2012. It was released on Disney+ in January 2022, which is where I first saw it (in April).
A couple named Claire (Lizzy Caplan) and Bennie find a Chitauri weapon after the Battle of New York, and use it to rob a series of banks. SHIELD agent Felix Blake assigns Agent Sitwell to retrieve the weapon and "neutralize" the two robbers. I don't want to reveal how it ends, but it's a reasonably entertaining short.
Agent Carter (15:28)
Disney+; IMDb; MCU Wiki; TV Tropes; Vudu; Wikipedia
This was released on the Blu-ray of Iron Man 3 in 2013. It was also available as an extra for "Iron Man 3" on Disney+ (where I saw it in 2020) and Vudu. In January 2022, it was moved to a new page on Disney+ that collected the One-Shots.
The film takes place one year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger. Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) works for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), under the command of Agent John Flynn (Bradley Whitford), who treats her like a secretary. One night while all the male agents are gone, a call comes in with a mission, which Carter decides to tackle on her own. Of course she kicks a lot of ass and gets the job done. And of course the next day Flynn is angry about this. But then... Agent Carter gets her due. I don't want to reveal more than that, except to say that this short led to the creation of the TV series Agent Carter. (However, I don't really see how this short can fit into the timeline of the series, or vice versa.) Anyway... I guess I should also mention that there's an amusing mid-credits scene with Howard Stark and "Dum Dum" Dugan.

All Hail the King (13:49)
Disney+; IMDb; MCU Wiki; TV Tropes; Wikipedia
This was released on the Blu-ray of Thor: The Dark World in 2014. It was released on Disney+ in 2021, but I didn't watch it until 2022.
The film takes place after the events of Iron Man 3, which I didn't remember very well by the time I watched this. But refreshing my memory a bit online, I learned that a man calling himself the Mandarin (the leader of an organization called the Ten Rings) staged numerous terrorist bombings before being caught. It turned out he was actually an actor named Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), only playing the role of the Mandarin, whose real identity was a scientist named Aldrich Killian. (Well, actually even he's not the real Mandarin, whom we don't meet until the movie "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings". Except he never called himself "the Mandarin". It's complicated.) Anyway, in this short, Slattery is in prison, and many of his fellow prisoners are fans of his, and they protect him (most notably one named Herman). Slattery is interviewed by a documentarian named Jackson Norriss, but there's a twist ending to the interview (which I won't spoil), at which point the tone of the film quickly changes from comedy to... something else. There's also a bonus mid-credits scene featuring a character from "Iron Man 2", whom I didn't remember because my memory is so bad, but it was funny anyway.
