Minion Madness
Universal; Wikia; Wikipedia
streaming sites: Amazon; Google Play; Vudu; YouTube
This is a DVD that was released in 2010, both individually and as part of a combo pack with the Despicable Me DVD. It contains three short films (listed below), which were also bonus features on the "Despicable Me" Blu-ray. Aside from the short films, the DVD also includes some interactive carnival games.
Home Makeover (4:23)
IMDb; Wikia
One day when Gru is out, Margo takes a phone call from the orphanage, saying a social worker will be coming to evaluate whether the house is suitable for children. So the girls and the minions do their best to cover up all the dangerous and villain-y things around the house. When the social worker shows up, Margo and a minion pretend to be Gru. I won't say how it ends, but it's all pretty cute, and reasonably amusing.
Orientation Day (4:01)
IMDb; Wikia
Three new minions watch an orientation video about working at Gru Laboratories. When it's over, they immediately get to work... carrying bombs. The end is, of course, entirely predictable. But the whole film is fairly amusing (especially the orientation video).
A minion is having trouble waiting for his lunch break to eat a banana he's brought with him to work. Before long he takes it out and tries to eat it, but before he can, his coworker starts fighting to take it from him. Soon another minion comes in, and the three of them grapple over the banana, roaming all around the lab as they do so. Things get progressively more dangerous. I won't say how it ends, but it's all fairly amusing, I guess.

The Secret Life of Kyle (~4 minutes)
IMDb; Wikia
This is a bonus feature on the home video release of Despicable Me 3. Gru's dog, Kyle, tries to impress a poodle, but another dog gets her attention first. Kyle doesn't give up, though, and he wins in the end. It's a reasonably cute short.
Yellow Is the New Black
IMDb; Wikia
This was released theatrically with The Grinch, and is available on the DVD of that movie (which is where I first saw it). Set during Despicable Me 3, a couple of Minions who are imprisoned get assigned to a chain gang, chained to a human prisoner. The human tries to make an escape, and the Minions get dragged along. I felt pretty indifferent to the whole short.
Santa's Little Helpers
IMDb; Wikia
This was released on the DVD of "The Grinch". A few Minions end up at the North Pole and try to work as elves, but it doesn't go well. It was an okay short, I guess.
