This played in theaters before Monsters, Inc. (to which the short is not related). It's available on the DVD of that movie, as well as the Pixar Short Films Collection, volume 1. A bunch of small birds sit on a phone line (or a power line, I dunno... they sit on a cable going between telephone poles, anyway). Sitting on one of the poles is a larger bird, who apparently wants to be friends with the small birds, but they don't like him (or her, I dunno), for some reason. The large bird flies over and sits in the middle of the row of smaller birds, and weighs down the cable. And... I don't want to say how it ends. But I did find the ending somewhat amusing.
