This was originally released as a bonus feature on the DVD of the movie Cars, and is set in the same world as that movie. It's also available on the Pixar Short Films Collection, volume 1. Mater plays pranks on the other cars in Radiator Springs, and later mentions the Ghostlight (which he had previously mentioned in the movie). Because Lightning McQueen doesn't know anything about the Ghostlight, Sheriff tells a story about it (though we only hear the beginning and end, not the main part of the story). The story terrifies Mater, and the other cars pull a prank on him, making him believe he's being chased by the Ghostlight. For the most part, I thought the short film was just okay, and I was only going to give it one smiley, but I decided to tack on an extra quarter just because I really liked the post-credits scene. If the whole short had been that funny, I would have rated it even higher. (But that scene probably wouldn't have been as funny without being set up by the rest of the short.)
