This is a Mexican film, so it's in Spanish, with English subtitles. Three girls visit a medium named Margery, hoping she can help deal with a malicious spirit that has been troubling them. One of the girls, Catalina, had been attacked by the spirit. But it's her sister Gretta who does most of the talking. They're accompanied by their friend Regina. I don't want to say any more about the plot, but the film has a very creepy atmosphere about it, and it is rather scary. Still, there's a twist at the end that I had been predicting all along, so I didn't find it as effective as it could have been. But what bothers me more than that is the fact that some of the things Margery said should have been confusing to the girls, and it made no sense to me that they didn't even seem to notice. I mean, I get that they were preoccupied with their fear, and all, but still... I can't help thinking the only reason they didn't react to the things she said was because if they had shown any confusion, it would have completely spoiled the twist ending. But whatever, it was still creepy, and I basically liked the film.
