A man named Levi has just been exonerated in the death and cannibalization of his mother. His half brother, Wade, takes him to a diner where it turns out everyone in town still believes Levi is guilty. Everyone except his friend, Bo, who works as a burger flipper at the diner. There are a couple of guys who harass Levi, and a waitress named Ruby who likes him despite believing he's guilty. But Levi has become a vegetarian, and just wants to be left alone and not treated like a killer. Eventually, a deeply disturbing truth is revealed that I don't want to spoil, but it's what makes the film interesting.
