The scene is the home of an obviously wealthy man. In voiceover, we hear a man with a posh British accent narrating the suicide note that he is writing. He mentions his late wife, whom he misses dearly. He also mentions his son, whom he says he loves, and regrets having caused pain. He looks forward to joining his wife, and hopes his son will be better able to enjoy his money than he was. And then there's a twist ending.
