This 2016 short film was presented by Alter in 2019.

A young girl named Bree takes more cookies than she's supposed to from the cookie jar. So her mom replaces it with a jar shaped like a scary clown head. This leads to the girl having a nightmare, which is probably the scariest part of the film, at least briefly. After that, Bree takes it upon herself to get rid of the jar... but it seems as if she's been psychologically scarred. Sort of. The very last bit of the film looks pretty scary, but Bree seems happy enough, so I felt like that kind of undercuts the scariness of the scene. Anyway, the kid was already a fan of scary movies, so it shouldn't be surprising that she seems to have gotten past her fear of the clown.

I feel like the film isn't really as scary as I would like it to be. Still, I'm glad to have seen it, and I do think it was worth mentioning. I wish I could think of more to say about it (other than that the parenting wasn't great).
