This 2018 short film was presented by Alter in 2020.

A young woman named Ashley is in police custody, and must recount the deaths of her friends to a psychologist named Dr. Warren. She's already told the whole story to the police detectives, who are watching the conversation from behind a mirror. They don't believe her story, but Dr. Warren is more open-minded. It's about how the group of friends went on a trip to a cabin in the woods, and then went on a hike. They found a cave, and inside that... well, I don't want to get into it. But Ashley was forced to kill her friends one by one as they got possessed.

It's an unbelievable story in the real world, but totally believable within a horror movie universe. And presumably, this short film takes place within such a world. It's definitely intriguing to see the juxtaposition of realistic and fictional sensibilities. And I guess I don't know what else to say. It's kind of an amusing short, but not quite comedic enough for me to list it under comedy shorts. In fact it's not exactly a horror short, either. I'm not sure what to call it, but I'm going with "horror" just because it... takes place after a horror story.
