A woman named Mercedes attends a retreat for pregnant women. The leader of the retreat seems friendly, but overly persistent in her attempts to get Mercedes to open up about her concerns. And soon, the retreat itself becomes concerning. The way the short film ends is rather horrifying, and plays on Mercedes's real fears and insecurities in what I would say was an unexpected way. I mean, it's obvious from the start that something isn't right with this retreat, but I failed to predict what exactly would turn out to be wrong with it. So I liked that. Anyway, it's a psychological horror more than anything else, but one that will have real consequences.
