A young girl named Jenn has spent her whole life living in an underground bunker with her father, mother (Ione Skye), and older brother. She's never seen the outside world, because her family tells her that the world has been taken over by monsters. It's not safe out there for her, but her parents and brother leave often, to scavenge for things they all need to survive. Jenn wants to leave so she can see the world for herself, and help fight the monsters. On her tenth birthday, when the others are gone, she steals a key to get out of the bunker.

I kind of suspected a certain twist to what she would find. But I didn't anticipate the reason for the twist. In any event, the whole film is pretty good. I watched it on the anthology website Fun Size Horror, but I decided to give my review a page of its own both because of how good it is, and because it's longer than most of the shorts on the site. And I guess I don't know what else to say.
