This 2015 short film was presented by Alter in 2018, and re-released in 2022.
I'm writing this review after watching the film on Alter in 2022, but I feel like I might have seen it elsewhere sometime before this. Or not. If I did, I chose not to write a review at the time. And I can kind of understand that, because I didn't really get too invested in it, this time, but I still appreciated it more than I did before (assuming I actually saw it before). It's reasonably clever, and a sort of homage to Halloween, which I'm sure I hadn't seen at the time I (might have) first seen this. (In "Halloween", the killer wore a Captain Kirk mask, whereas in this short film, the killer wears a Spock mask, which I thought was a neat touch.)
Anyway, a teenage girl who has a scar across her neck goes about committing horror movie sins (such as drinking and sex) to lure a killer to her home. Her plan is to kill him, but he doesn't seem particularly killable (kinda like Michael Myers). It's sort of a comedy, and I did find it reasonably amusing, but not like hilarious, or anything. And it's certainly not really scary, despite all the stabbing and chopping by both the killer and the girl. But it's definitely worth a watch (and a review).
