This 2022 short film was presented by Alter in 2024.

This is a horror comedy action short film, but I mostly see it as quirky. It's narrated in asides by a high school senior named Caroline Filk, who is planning on having sex with her boyfriend, Donovan Pringle, for the first time after prom night, in 1991. After prom they're making out in Donovan's father's minivan, but before they can take the next step, someone gets murdered outside the car, and then the murderers steal the car while Carrie and Donovan hide in the backseat. It turns out the killers are a couple of teachers from their school, Mr. Little (Yuri Lowenthal) and Ms. Cox, who coincidentally plan to kill Carrie next, not knowing she's right there listening to them.

Beyond that, I don't want to spoil any details, but things eventually take a turn for the worse, and then for the better. I found the whole thing fairly amusing, mostly because of Carrie's asides (which are also largely what make the short quirky).
