This came out in 2008, but I didn't see it until 2024. Before I watched it, I had it on my list of "slasher films I want to see", but it's not exactly a slasher. I'm not sure where I got that idea. It's more of a psychological horror film, and more still I consider it a thriller. I feel like my rating is a bit generous, but I do like it more than "meh", so whatever. I just barely liked it. Kind of.

Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman) have just returned from a wedding, to stay at James's family's vacation home. They're both on edge, because James had proposed to Kristen, but she turned him down, and they're not sure what's going to happen next. Well, what happens next is that three people in masks start terrorizing them. That's it. That's the whole film. It's supposedly based on true events, but I would say very loosely. I do think it was reasonably scary, but that's really all there is to it.
