This came out in 2008. I'm not sure if it was then or later than I first listened to it, but I'm listening again in 2021 basically to give the album a rating. I previously wrote a very brief review, and I don't feel like adding much to it now. As I said before, the whole album sounds lovely. But there's not much I could say specifically about most of the songs. Two of the album's ten songs, "The Last Christmas" and "Christmas for Two", are original to the band. They're nice, but I didn't remember them when I re-listened to the album. I'm a bit surprised that I didn't mention that there's a Spanish song called "Riu Riu Chiu" which I'm sure I've never heard anywhere else, but it's nice. I also want to add now that "Carol of the Bells" sounds a bit different than I've heard elsewhere, and I like the variation. Then there's "Christmas Island", which probably wasn't very familiar to me, if at all, the first time I listened to it. But already this year I heard it on Kristin Chenoweth's Christmas album, and I think I liked it better there, but it's nice here, too. The last song is "Some Children See Him", which I said originally "is probably my favorite version of that song, though it's not a song I'm terribly familiar with". All these years later I'm surprised I said that, because at this point I can't recall having heard the song done by anyone else. I also said "it's not a song I love, no matter who's singing it, but I do like the idea that the song represents". Anyway, that's all I can think to say about the album.
