This is the band's first greatest hits album, released in 1991.
1. "West End Girls": This comes from their debut album, "Please". I like it well enough, and it's probably deeper than I give it credit for, because I tend not to really pay attention to the lyrics.
2. "Love Comes Quickly": From "Please". This song is not familiar to me. I guess it's not bad, but I can't manage to care about it.
3. "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)": From "Please". This one's pretty familiar, but mainly just the chorus. It's fairly good.
4. "Suburbia": From "Please". This one's not really familiar to me, but it's okay.
5. "It's a Sin": From "Actually". This is another familiar one. It's pretty good.
6. "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" From "Actually". Dusty Springfield has guest vocals. It's another familiar track, probably one of my favorite PSB songs.
7. "Rent": From "Actually". This is not so familiar to me. I'm not really sure what I think of it.
8. "Always on My Mind": I think this was only released as a single. It's a cover of a song that had previously been recorded by other artists, but this is the version that's most familiar to me. It might be my favorite PSB song.
9. "Heart": From "Actually". This is not familiar to me, but it's fine, I guess.
10. "Domino Dancing": From "Introspective". At first this didn't sound familiar to me, but the chorus was kind of familiar. It's okay.
11. "Left to My Own Devices": From "Introspective". This is not greatly familiar to me, and I don't know how much I like it, but it's not bad. Oh yeah, and there's an orchestra.
12. "It's Alright": From "Introspective". It's not familiar to me. It's a bit political, but more just optimistic, and about music lasting forever. It's okay, but not at all memorable to me.
13. "So Hard": From "Behaviour". It's not familiar to me. I don't particularly like it.
14. "Being Boring": From "Behaviour". I only really remember the chorus, but that is pretty memorable to me. I think the song as a whole is decent.
15. "Where the Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes Off You)": I guess this was like the B-side of a single. It's a medley; the first title is a cover of a U2 song and the latter is a cover of a Franie Valli song, but of course the PSB version is quite different from the originals. It's not really familiar to me, but it's interesting, anyway.
16. "Jealousy": From "Behaviour". It's not familiar to me, but it's good.
17. "DJ Culture": This is original to this album. It's not familiar to me. It's not bad, but I can't manage to care about it.
18. "Was It Worth It?": Original to this album. Not familiar to me. Again, not bad, but I can't manage to care. It's a little bit disco, as I guess are some other PSB songs, but I noticed it more on this song.
Well, there's a sort of sameness to a lot of the band's songs, but I don't really dislike any of them. However, I really just like the album for the songs that were already familiar to me, which I think are rather good. Nothing I can manage to love, but basically good stuff, if you like synth-pop. And I think this album gives a pretty solid example of what the band is like, overall.
