A Christmas Carol parody episodes
A.V. Club; Christmas Specials Wiki; TV Tropes; Wikipedia

The majority of these will be Christmas episodes, but a few might happen on other holidays, or at any random time of year. (The list may also include standalone TV specials.) There are probably lots of "Christmas Carol" parody episodes I haven't included here, if I'm sure I haven't seen them and I'm not sure I'd be interested in seeing them; I'll try to list things that I think I'd probably like to see. But some of the things listed on my Christmas episodes pages but not here may involve these tropes, if I've forgotten that they do so.
Episodes on this page are listed in chronological order of original airdate.

Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol, CBS
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia; Wikipedia

One segment within the 1979 special "Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales," which I'm sure I saw at some point in my youth, though I tend to doubt it was quite as far back as 1979, when I was four years old. This is now the only segment I remember from the special, however. I'd definitely love to see it again someday.

Bah, Humbug, CBS
IMDb

Aired in 1980, in season three of WKRP in Cincinnati. I have no idea whether I ever saw this, but if I did it surely would have been years later on a rerun.

A Keaton Christmas Carol, NBC
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 1983, in season two of Family Ties. I'm not sure whether I saw this, but it's entirely possible.

Xmas Marks the Spot, ABC
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 1986, in season one of The Real Ghostbusters. I have no idea if I ever saw this, but I'd definitely like to.

Blackadder's Christmas Carol, BBC1 (UK)
Amazon; BBC; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 1988, this special came between the third and fourth series of Blackadder. I saw it on my local public television station, though I don't remember if it was that year or sometime later. I don't believe it could have been later than the early 90s, though. Anyway, I'd love to see it again sometime.

Season's Greetings from Al Floss, CBS
IMDb

Aired in 1989, in the only season of The Famous Teddy Z. It's always been one of my favorite "Christmas Carol" parodies; it even makes a reference to the movie Scrooged. Unfortunately, I expect it's the one I'm least likely to ever get to see again.

For Whom the Jingle Bell Tolls, NBC
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 1989, in season three of A Different World. I don't remember if I saw this or not, but I'd like to.

A Little Miracle, NBC
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; Hulu; IMDb; NBC; Wikia

Aired in 1990, in season three of Quantum Leap.

Halloween IV, ABC
Amazon Prime; Halloween Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 1992, in season five of Roseanne. As the title suggests, it's not a Christmas episode, but one of the show's famous Halloween episodes. It did use the "Christmas Carol" plot, though.

A Christmas Tale: Dr. Mike's Dream, CBS
Amazon Prime; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 1993, in season two of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. I probably saw this, but I don't really remember it, now.

Shofar, So Good, CBS
IMDb

Aired in 1994, in season six of Northern Exposure. In this case, the parody isn't a Christmas or even a Hannukah episode, but rather a Yom Kippur episode. I'm sure I saw it, but at this point I don't really remember it, so I'd like to see it again someday.

A Solstice Carol, syndicated
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 1996, in season two of Xena: Warrior Princess. I don't recall whether I saw this or not, but I'd certainly like to.

Christmas Carol, FOX
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 1997, in season five of The X-Files. Mostly the title is an obvious reference, but there's some vaguely similar stuff going on in the story. Very vaguely.

Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future, Adult Swim
Amazon; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 2002, in season one of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. This starts out as a parody of "A Christmas Carol," sort of, before kind of segueing into a sort of parody of The Terminator, and just going completely off the rails.

'Tis the Fifteenth Season, FOX
Amazon; A.V. Club; Christmas Specials Wiki; Disney+; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 2003, in season fifteen of The Simpsons. Homer sees a cartoon adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" (which is also a spoof of "Mr. Magoo") on TV and decides to change his ways. But later, for a reason I won't reveal, he decides to make Christmas better for everyone by stealing their gifts, in a weird twist on How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

A Lost Claus, Cartoon Network
Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 2005, in season three of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. The "Christmas Carol" parody is just one part of the episode's events.

A Christmas Mikey, Nicktoons Network/Nickelodeon

Aired in 2006, in season one of Kappa Mikey. It mashes together "A Christmas Carol" and "It's a Wonderful Life," among other things.

Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol, BBC1 (UK)

Aired in 2010, between series five and six of Doctor Who, this was one of the show's annual Christmas specials.

The Goon: A Christmas Carol, YouTube
YouTube

Released in 2012, this is a 2-part story from the webseries Dark Horse Motion Comics. It's a more direct adaptation of the story than most of the things on this page, but of course it has the darker comic sensibilities of "The Goon" comic books.

A Hearth's Warming Tail, Discovery Family
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 2016, in season six of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. (While it was originally aired in May, it is one of the show's episodes about a Christmas-like holiday.) Also has shades of a Grinch parody.

Where Are the Giggles?, ABC
Amazon; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 2016, in season three of Fresh off the Boat. The "Christmas Carol" parody is just one part of the episode's events.

Don't Be a Dickens at Christmas, FOX
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 2017, in season sixteen of Family Guy. TBH, I stopped watching this series awhile ago, but I noticed it was doing a Christmas Carol parody in the same year I was making this page, so I decided to watch it just for the sake of coincidence, and having one more thing to add to the page. And it wasn't entirely terrible. I still have zero interest in going back to watching the show, but I did find a few bits of this episode amusing. Anyway, the ghost of Patrick Swayze shows Peter a brief glimpse of Christmas past, and longer glimpses of Christmas present and yet to come.

An Impeachment Carol, YouTube
From 2019, this is a clip, about a minute and a half long, that I saw on Full Frontal's YouTube page. (I have no idea if the clip aired on TBS or not.) Samantha Bee wakes up from a Scrooge-like experience, which we don't get to see. But the aftermath is pretty much like the end of "A Christmas Carol."

The Joker's Holiday Pranks!, YouTube
From 2020, this is an episode of DC Kids Show in which Robin, Nightwing, and Batman play the superheroes of past, present, and future, to try to show Joker the error of his ways for constantly pranking Jett and Nandi.
