How the Grinch Stole Christmas parody episodes
Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes

The majority of these will be Christmas episodes, but a few might happen on other holidays, or at any random time of year. (The list may also include standalone TV specials.) Some may be more about the episode title, or a song parody, than the actual plot of the episode. There are tons of episodes not included here where a passing reference is made to the Grinch, or some aspect of the special.
Episodes on this page are listed in chronological order of original airdate.

The City That Forgot About Christmas

This special aired in 1974. I don't know if the plot was meant to resemble "Grinch" or not, but it put me in mind of that story.

The Freakazoid, The WB
IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 1996, in season two of Freakazoid! Not a holiday episode (unless you count Freakazoid's birthday), and not even a parody of "The Grinch," though at one point there's a parody of the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."

How the Ghosts Stole Christmas, FOX
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 1998, in season six of The X-Files. Basically just the episode's title is a "Grinch" parody.

How the Finch Stole Christmas, NBC
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb

Aired in 1998, in season three of Just Shoot Me! The episode includes narration similar to the special, as well as a parody of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" performed by Kelsey Grammer. And of course it makes so much sense for Dennis Finch to act like a Grinch (the fact that his name rhymes with "Grinch" is just the icing on the Grinch-cake that is his personality.) I don't remember much about the episode, but this is probably what I think of most often when I think of "Grinch" parodies.

'Tis the Fifteenth Season, FOX
Amazon; A.V. Club; Christmas Specials Wiki; Disney+; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 2003, in season fifteen of The Simpsons. Homer sees a cartoon adaptation of A Christmas Carol (which is also a spoof of "Mr. Magoo") on TV and decides to change his ways. But later, for a reason I won't reveal, he decides to make Christmas better for everyone by stealing their gifts, in a weird twist on "How the Grinch Stole Christmas".

The Yzma That Stole Kuzcoween, Disney Channel
HS Wiki; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 2006, in season one of The Emperor's New School. This is a Halloween rather than a Christmas episode. The parody is mostly in the title, but I guess the plot is slightly similar, and of course Yzma is always a grinch.

How Lily Stole Christmas, CBS
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 2006, in season two of How I Met Your Mother. Lily is referred to as a "grinch" (a stand-in for a worse slur), but she's rather justified in being upset with Ted.

A Very Sadie Christmas, Family (Canada) / Disney Channel (USA)
Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb

Aired in 2006, in season two of Naturally, Sadie. I don't remember whether I saw this episode or not, but there's a parody of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."

A Very Glee Christmas, FOX
Amazon; A.V. Club; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 2010, in season two of Glee. Part of the plot involves Sue being a Grinch. The episode also includes covers of two songs from the original special, one being a parody of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" performed by k.d. lang.

The Grimm Who Stole Christmas, NBC
Amazon; IMDb; Wikia

Aired in 2014, in season four of Grimm. As far as I can recall, the episode didn't really have anything to do with "stealing" Christmas, and I certainly wouldn't call Nick a Grinch, but I did feel like mentioning the episode here, just because of the title.

A Hearth's Warming Tail, Discovery Family
Amazon; Christmas Specials Wiki; IMDb; TV Tropes; Wikia; Wikipedia

Aired in 2016, in season six of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Mostly a Christmas Carol parody, but it has shades of a Grinch parody.
