This is a program that airs Celtic music. It's hosted by Fiona Ritchie. It began in 1981, but I probably first discovered it sometime in the mid 90s, I think. It's not something I've listened to often, and certainly not for years. But it still airs on Saturday nights, and occasionally I think I should tune in. In fact, I should tune in to a bunch of shows on NPR on Saturdays. I don't know about national schedules, but my local station airs A Prairie Home Companion Saturdays at 6pm, followed by this at 8, then "World Cafe" at 9 (a show I've surely heard a bit of before, and if I ever listen to it again I'll add a page for it here), followed by Echoes at 11. If that's not a good way to spend a Saturday night, I don't know what is. (Erm, except maybe watching a DVD.) Anyway, I don't know what else to say. There's lots of good music, and um... I like Fiona's accent.

Oh, and at some point in the 90s, I named a fictional Scottish pub after the show, for use in Star Trek fanfic.
