This cartoon aired as part of the Marvel Universe programming block, for five seasons, from 2013 to 2019. I didn't get to see it on TV, because I had lost access to Disney XD, but a few years after it ended, I finally started watching it on Disney+.

Season One
At the start of the series, the Avengers have been broken up for some time. Then Iron Man apparently sees Red Skull kill Captain America, and he assembles the old team, including Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, as well as recruiting a new member, Falcon. They find out that Cap is still alive, he had just been teleported to the base of Red Skull and MODOK, so that Skull's mind could be transferred into Cap's body. The Avengers stopped that, but Skull ended up stealing Iron Man's armor to become Iron Skull. And I'll say more as I continue watching the series.
