Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, on Cartoon Network

Okay, this is a show about cartoon versions of Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura, of the J-pop duo Puffy AmiYumi. I'm a fan of theirs. The show isn't great, but I find it reasonably entertaining. The eps are introduced, in a vague sense, by the real live Ami and Yumi. Then the cartoon is just these characters based on them, going from gig to gig, having weird, wacky adventures. Or whatever. Along with their manager, Kaz, who for some reason is the only one of them with a Japanese accent. Most of the time; every once in a while Ami and Yumi seem to have an accent, or at least say something in Japanese (without subtitles, gasp!) Oh, also, they have a pair of mischievous cats named Jang Keng and Tekirai. Anyway, the best thing about the show is that it's peppered with bits of Puffy's music, of course. I definitely dig that, as well as the appearances by the real Ami and Yumi. That's about all I can think to say, except that cartoon Ami and Yumi kinda remind me of Starfire and Raven from Teen Titans (which is funny, because Puffy AmiYumi provided the theme song for that show, as well as this one).
