A stupid but brilliant and hilarious show. This is the best talk show in the history of the universe. A talk show hosted by Space Ghost. A talk show with bandleader Zorak and producer Moltar, who are Space Ghost's prisoners. A talk show where the guests are usually fairly incidental, even if they're often very cool and funny and stuff. But the show's about the main three: the has-been superhero, the mantis, and the lava man. Those guys are nuts and stuff. I'm not real familiar with Space Ghost's old cartoon from like the 60's, or whatever, but I'm sure it wasn't as good as this.
Anyway, this originally debuted in 1994, at which point I didn't have Cartoon Network. (I think my first experience seeing Space Ghost was maybe on a VHS tape of The Mask.) But I must have gotten to start watching it in 1995, and then in 2001, it became one of the first shows to air as part of the Adult Swim block.
And that's all I can think to say, except that there was also a related show called Cartoon Planet, and later one called The Brak Show. Oh, and one time there was a commercial for Esurance in which Space Ghost interviewed Erin Esurance.
