This cartoon aired as part of the Marvel Universe programming block, for four seasons, from 2012 to 2017. I didn't get to see it on TV, because I had lost access to Disney XD, but a few years after it ended, I finally started watching it on Disney+. I didn't like it as much as I hoped I might, but I guess it's okay. There are a lot of jokes, mainly as asides Spider-Man makes to the audience. I guess the character has always been pretty quippy, but I feel like this series takes it over the top. Still, the stories can be somewhat serious.
Season One
Peter Parker had been Spider-Man for some time before the series begins. He has best friends Mary Jane Watson and Harry Osborn, who have no idea of his secret identity. One day, Nick Fury, director of SHIELD, offers him a chance to become the "Ultimate Spider-Man" by training with SHIELD, alongside four other teenage superheroes. They include Power Man (Luke Cage), Iron Fist (Danny Rand), White Tiger (Ava Ayala), and Nova (Sam Alexander). Spidey and Nova don't really get along very well. Anyway, they all go to Peter's high school, where SHIELD Agent Phil Coulson becomes the new principal, to watch over them. We really don't see Spidey and the others do much actual training. They often blow off SHIELD to do their own thing. There are lots of stand-alone stories, but also a story arc about Norman Osborn (Harry's father) trying to obtain Spider-Man's DNA, for nefarious purposes. He has a scientist named Otto Octavius working on this for him, by sending various villains to fight Spider-Man. Eventually, Octavius becomes a supervillain in his own right, Doctor Octopus. There are also several episodes involving Venom, a symbiote that bonds with Harry. At the end of the season, Norman transforms into Green Goblin and later destroys SHIELD's Helicarrier. Since that's where Luke, Danny, Ava, and Sam all lived, they're now homeless, and they move in with Peter and his Aunt May. Meanwhile, Harry blames Spider-Man for what his father has become, and vows revenge.
