So, Wikipedia says this aired as a 2-part pilot in 1988, on "The Wonderful World of Disney," and failed to get picked up as a series. Personally I feel like when I saw it, it was in more like three to five parts, rather than two, but I could be mistaken (though I would have seen it on a Canadian channel rather than an American one, so maybe I'm not). Anyway, I have virtually no recollection of the show, except it was set on a spaceship. And I vaguely recall one point where the ship received like radio or TV signals from a century earlier, or something, but that was totally unimportant to the plot. (I really hope I'm not remembering something that happened in a different movie.) So, I can't tell you anything about the plot. I feel like I may have found it a bit lacking in quality, but I don't know. I'd really like to see it again sometime, but from what I've read online, it sounds like it's pretty hard to find a copy of it anywhere. Sigh.
