This is an Australian series that began airing there in 2018. It began airing in the U.S. on Disney Junior in 2019, and on Disney+ in 2020. But I don't think I'd even heard of it until early 2024 (or possibly late 2023), when I started seeing articles and memes and stuff on Facebook. It was incredibly popular with adults as well as children, so I decided to check it out. And I liked it. It's a children's show, but I can definitely see the appeal for adults, as well (especially, but not limited to, parents of young children). I think of it as not just an incredibly cute and amusing show, but also a good model for parents on how to parent, and little kids on how to little kid.

The title character, Bluey Heeler, is a six-year-old anthropomorphic Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her parents, Bandit (Dad) and Chilli (Mum), and four-year-old sister, Bingo. The four of them play together a lot, and have creative imaginations. They also have lots of friends of various dog breeds, with whom they sometimes play. And honestly, there's not much more I can say about the show, in a general way. And I don't really want to get into specifics.

It's sort of an educational show, but mostly it's entertaining. Episode runtimes are about 7 minutes each, so normally I'd consider including a link to such a series in my "microseries" section, but I don't think I will, just because there's also a series of "minisodes", which came out in 2024. I don't expect I'll start watching those until I've gotten through the three seasons that have aired so far; as of my creation of this review, I've just seen the first season (which has 52 episodes). I expect I may have more to say when I watch more of the series.

I can say that there's an episode of season 2 called "Dad Baby" which isn't on any Disney platforms, but can be watched on YouTube. And there's a half hour special episode in season 3 called "The Sign". I'll probably say a bit about those episodes whenever I get around to watching them.
