I didn't get NBC when this aired on Saturday mornings, but my CBS station would air it on Saturday afternoons. It was a teen sitcom from the people who brought you Saved by the Bell. (This was one of several such teen sitcoms they made, but the only one I recall ever being interested in, other than Saved by the Bell itself.) I can't remember for sure if I saw the first season, but I probably did. Anyway, it was about this band in California, called the California Dreams. And the band had a manager named Sly Winkle, who I don't think any of them really liked very much, but he's the character I remember best. Because he was so good at being unlikable.
