I never watched too much of this, but it ain't bad, really. I guess it could be kinda funny and stuff. It's about Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) and her friends Miranda and Gordo, who all go to like junior high or whatever. (I also feel the need to mention that Lizzie's mom is played by Hallie Todd, who played Data's daughter Lal in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, though she looks very different, here.) Hmmm, what else to say? Lizzie has a mischievous little brother named Matt, who has a friend named Lanny who never talks, but Matt always understands him perfectly, somehow. Um... Lizzie's dad is played by Robert Carradine, and I want to mention that his brother David Carradine, from "Kung Fu," (which I hope to see someday) guest starred in one episode, which was cool...
But I digress. Um... the show was mainly about Lizzie (we sometimes saw her inner thoughts expressed by a cartoon version of herself). You know, growing up, going to school, dealing with family and friends, all that kind of stuff. Not much to say, really. But, like I said, the show was okay. And of course, it was pretty popular, with its target audience (of whom I am, of course, not a member), and made a star of Hilary Duff....
There was also a spin-off movie, simply called The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
