Pretty Freekin Scary, on Disney Channel

There's this 14-year-old girl named Frankie Ripp, who falls down a manhole and dies. In the Underworld, she meets the Grim Reaper (G.R.), who gives her a chance to return to life, but Frankie will have to complete a series of tasks for G.R. She's accompanied back to the land of the living by a girl named Scary and a boy named Pretty, who work for G.R. Frankie also has a little brother named Remy, who's into conspiracies or whatever. And she befriends a sort of goth girl named Nyx, as well as a guy named Erlic, who is a potential love interest for Franie. And she has a former best friend named Layla, who started dating Frankie's former boyfriend, Dio, during the time Frankie was dead. Eventually, Frankie learns that she has the power to create storms, or something.

And... it seems like some potentially interesting stuff started happening about halfway through the first (and only) season. Unfortunately, I don't know too much about that, because I was watching it on Disney+, and the show disappeared from that service before I got around to finishing the series. It's still available on other services, but not for free, and I don't care about the show nearly enough to consider paying to watch it. To be honest, I thought both the writing and acting on the show were terrible, but in a weird way that's what I kind of liked about it. It's just a really bad sitcom, that happens to have a supernatural premise. Pretty and Scary weren't terrible characters, I guess. Scary was my favorite. And I don't know what else to tell you. Oh, except that I think Frankie is sometimes called "Freekin", so she, Pretty, and Scary make up the show's title. (There is nothing at all scary about the show, so don't take the title literally.)
