I don't remember this well enough to rate it.

Cagney & Lacey, on CBS

This started with a pilot TV movie in 1981, followed by seven seasons, from 1982-88. There were four more TV movies, in 1994-96. I'm sure I watched at least some of the series, when I was a kid, and I must have liked it at the time, but now I don't remember anything specific about it. (I'm fairly sure I didn't see any of the TV movies.) It was a police procedural show about detectives Christine Cagney (Sharon Gless, for most of the show's run, though Cagney was played by Loretta Swit in the pilot and by Meg Foster in season 1) and Mary Beth Lacey (Tyne Daly). I wish I remembered it well enough to say anything more about it, but maybe I'll see it again someday.

Oh, and on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Terry has twin daughters named Cagney and Lacey. I like that.
