There was this yuppie couple, Gordon (played by Mark Linn-Baker, of whom I was a fan from Perfect Strangers) and Sydney (Lisa Hartman). They decided to go on a vacation, and end up getting shipwrecked on an island. There they meet this guy named Bill (Gregory Harrison) and a woman named Tarita. And... it's just a ridiculous story, but funny and sexy and um... quirky, I guess. I don't want to spoil any of what happens (and I don't remember a lot of specifics, though I'll definitely try to watch it again someday). The way things play out is... well, it seemed kind of unexpected to me, at the time. But looking back, it might be cliched. I don't really know. Either way, it's an unlikely turn of events, but somehow it kind of made sense, in the end. And it was just basically a fun, refreshing story.
