This was a very good series, but I didn't get to see enough of it. It was set in a southern town during the 50's, and focused on a white lawyer and his family, and a black woman who worked for them, and her family. Very important historical sorta show, great writing, great cast. The show didn't last long enough, though. Awhile after it was cancelled by NBC, PBS produced a TV movie called I'll Fly Away: Then and Now (IMDb) to wrap up the story and show us the future of the characters.
