Wrecked, on TBS
Amazon; A.V. Club; Crave; IMDb; Lostpedia; TBS; TV.com; TV Tango; Wikipedia

The first season aired in summer of 2016, and I totally meant to watch it. But since I was watching Maya & Marty at the time, I set the DVR to record it. And it didn't. At least, it didn't record the first episode. But it ultimately ended up recording eight out of the season's ten episodes. And they sat there on the DVR, unwatched, until in October (a couple of months after the season ended), I decided to pay to watch the first episode on Amazon, to see if I liked it well enough to start watching the DVR'd episodes. And... I guess I kind of did. Anyway, the show is an obvious parody of Lost (the first episode is even called "All Is Not Lost"). And since I was a big fan of that show, naturally I'm up for seeing it get lampooned.

It starts out by showing us an odd assortment of people on a plane. One of them is a flight attendant named Owen, who obviously doesn't take his job seriously. Anyway, the plane soon crashes, and a guy named Liam immediately starts helping the survivors. (He's obviously an exaggerated version of Jack from "Lost," except instead of being a doctor, he says he was in the British special forces. Which I find kind of odd, because I swear his accent sounded Australian, but the actor is British, so what do I know?) Meanwhile, one of the passengers, Danny, takes the opportunity presented by the crash to claim he's a cop (which is something he's always wanted to be). He forms an alliance with Owen and another passenger, an agent named Pack. (I read that he's a sports agent, but from the pilot I assumed he was a Hollywood agent. I suppose I'll learn more about him when I watch more episodes.) Danny decides that he, Owen, and Pack, should become "co-leaders" with Liam. But a few days after the crash, Liam ends up getting himself killed. (I found this particularly interesting, because supposedly Jack was originally meant to die in the pilot of "Lost," instead of becoming the main character. So it was neat to see that actually happen, in the parody.) Anyway, there are a number of other important characters, whom I'll wait to mention specifically until I've seen more of the show.
