This is a half-hour animated special that takes place after "Descendants 3." (Actually, between that movie and this special, there was a microseries called "The Planning of the Royal wedding", which was later released as a special on YouTube, but I've never seen it and have no plans to.) This aired in 2021, but I didn't see it until 2023, on Disney+. Mal and her friends are preparing for her wedding to Ben. Her father, Hades, shows up and causes an incident, then returns to the Isle of the Lost. But Mal is sure what happened wasn't her father's fault, so she and her friends go to the Isle to bring him back. And I guess that's all I want to say about the plot. It was a decent enough little story. And it includes a decent enough song.
