The third "Peanuts" special, which first aired in 1966. I'm sure I liked it when I was a kid, in the 80s. Um... so, there's a party. And trick-or-treating. (Charlie Brown's pitiful costume, and his complaint, "I got a rock," are quite memorable.) And of course there's Snoopy as a World War I flying ace. And most importantly, Linus and Sally sitting in the pumpkin patch waiting for the Great Pumpkin to bring toys. And I don't really know what else to say. Rewatching it as an adult, there doesn't seem to be much of a plot, but it's still mildly amusing and pretty nostalgic. I don't watch it most years, and I can't manage to like it nearly as much as I want to, but it's still comforting to know that it'll probably be on TV every October until TV ceases to be a thing.
